FROM QUALITY GRAPES TO QUALITY WINES

PAREJA 2_edited_edited.jpg

Founder Rosalia Molina decided to start this adventure in 1999. Rosalina and her husband Manolo were looking for a high altitude place to plant the first vines. They found it in Landete,
part of the Manchuela Denomination, where they fell in love with the place, its altitude, the cold climate and its poor soils, as well as its charm with a spectacular blue sky. The farm is currently made up of 150 hectares of vineyards and 25 of walnut trees, all in organic farming. They are selfsufficient, all the grapes they make come from their estate,
which is used for all the wines they make.

Inky and purple in the glass, the nose is reminiscent of ribena or cooked blue fruits. The palate is medium body and slightly more rustic, adding notes of earthy spices, dried herbs and a wet stone minerality.

A spanish garnacha that is quite light on its feet relative to its local counterparts. Intense red cherry on the nose complemented by baking spice. The fruit is fresh and not cloying on the palate with smokey and leathery notes adding dimension.

An extremely approachable example of a natural skin contact  white. Very complex nose of dried flowers, orange peel and almonds. Slight effervescence on the palate, with bruised apricot, citrus rind, salinity and minerality.
